Tips to change the Size of Paper to the Custom Size in Microsoft Word
The sizes and types of paper are created by the printer during setup. The paper settings are then entered by the user into the main setup page. These sections will show how to modify the settings for specific sizes or types.
Create a custom paper width or use the manufacturer’s setup page. Set up a custom height by using your gramatica corrector printer driver. If the custom paper’s height exceeds 432 millimeters (17in) and you want to print it, you can use the back output tray to print instead of the standard tray. In the Print dialog box select “Fit to” and move the tray to exactly where you would like your customized papers to be printed.

To change the sheet and tray sizes To change the size of the tray and sheet, first open the Printing Setup. Select the appropriate paper sizes to match your printer under “Printers and Paper” Then under “Trays and Sheets: Auto Tray Switch Function,” select the setting that displays the automatic tray switch function. When you print a new document the driver of the printer will adjust the size of the tray or sheet to accommodate your printing needs.
To alter the size of the page, first go to the Printing Setup and click on “page size” check spelling and grammar online. Select the size you’d like from the drop-down menu. Select “stretch” to stretch the page prior to printing. In other cases, the current custom-size will be used. To change the new size, click “set new size” in the pull-down menu.
o To print black or white documents, switch the sizes of the paper in the Printing Setup to black or white. Then, select “print.” The new size will be printed to the document page. To alter the color, choose the color you would like to use and then set it in the same drop-down menu that you select for the custom sizes for paper.
If the length of the paper exceeds 430 millimeters (17 inches), set the custom size as big as is possible. If you are using a non-printer driver, check the tray height and then select “auto tray height” in the menu that you can pull down. The printer driver will calculate the correct height automatically based on your display height. If this option isn’t present the maximum height of the tray will be utilized.
o To increase the paper tray depth, choose “set depth to default.” This option is only available for the non-printer tray. Once you have selected the depth the maximum depth will be used. It is not necessary to increase your document’s depth beyond 297 millimeters if it is printed on a thicker paper such as thick or bond paper.
Always open the file menu before printing a document. Click on the “file icon” instead of the “Printing” button. A majority of printers let you open the menu of files by clicking the “print” button instead of the ” Printing” button. Some printers will require that you click on the “print button” before you can alter the size to your specifications. You can always access the file menu by clicking on the “print” button instead of the ” Printing” button.
Once you’ve completed the process of customizing the paper size after which you click the “OK” button on the PRINTS and FOLDS screen. The document will be adjusted to your desired size. The entire process takes a few seconds. If there are any errors, you will see an error message appear or you can create an entirely new password. If there is no error message, the custom-sized size of the paper was applied successfully.
